Alejandro Ramirez is a law student at the University of Illinois College of Law with a focus on international law and compliance, with an expected graduation in 2027.

Alongside his legal studies, Alejandro serves as Director of Compliance for a client’s regulated international trading company., where he works on environmental compliance, certifications, and corporate governance within the recycling and metals trading industry. His role centers on translating legal and regulatory requirements into operational practice.

Before entering the legal profession, Alejandro competed as a professional chess player (an internationally ranked Grand Master) and now selectively coaches at a high level. As a game designer, he interned for Blizzard Entertainment working on Diablo 3.
